It is funny how you always remember your anniversary even when divorced. Mine was Feb 12, 1965. So I have really been married for 42 years. Only single for months! glad you are doing so well with your weight!

Glad you are like me in keeping certain dates locked in your memory. I save my calendars too from year to year.
In fact I had to look at May 2006 to see who gets the kids for Memorial Day. Thank you for the nice weight compliment. It feels really good! How are you doing? as far as being single? Everyone told me time heals. I never thought it was true but time really does have a way of healing many wounds.

Congratulations on one year of blogging here. Sorry? or something on the other anniversary. I've always liked the expression that time heals all wounds and wounds all heels. Just wish it healed the wounds sooner and wounded the heels earlier sometimes, you know? You've come so far this last year in so many ways. You should be proud.

I always remember the anniversary of my first marriage, too. Then, I remember how greatful I am that "the other woman" has the ex now, and has to put up with his temper, his drinking, his lies, etc. I am so thankful that he is out of my life, and that I am married to a good man now, and that life is good.

I also always remember the anniversary of my first marriage...I feel lucky that I got the opportunity at that time in my life, lucky that we stayed friends and even luckier that we were smart enough to end it when it didn't work.

Funny I always remember the day I was divorced. June 24 the day before his birthday. I look at it as my new life began on June 24th! WOO HOO! Glad things are well with you.

I think that all kinds of anniversaries must be remembered, because they are very important moments in a person's life. Even the date when you divorce must be remembered because you must celebrate your freedom.
